Tonight's performance of Disney's The Lion King canceled at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta due to a state of emergency
Performance added for Thursday, January 25 at 1 p.m.
Due to the state of emergency and icy road conditions, the Wednesday, January 17 performance at 7:30 p.m. of Disney’s THE LION KING has been canceled. All ticketholders will be refunded through their original point of purchase.
Patrons who purchased a ticket to the Wednesday, January 17 performance through the primary ticketing services of the Fox Theatre will receive a full refund for the entire purchase amount. The patron’s credit card will be refunded automatically within 5 business days. If a patron purchased tickets via credit card through the Fox Theatre, no further action is needed. To obtain a refund for a cash purchase, visit the Fox Theatre Box Office during regular business hours, Mon-Fri 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. If a patron purchased through a secondary ticketing outlet, then they will need to contact that outlet for their ticketing policies.
In an effort to accommodate patrons who purchased into tonight’s sold-out show, Disney Theatrical Productions has added a matinee performance of THE LION KING on January 25 at 1 p.m. Patrons who purchased tickets to the January 17 performance will receive information from The Fox Theatre about purchasing tickets to this newly added performance. The performance will be available to the public beginning tomorrow at 3 p.m.
