Broadway in Atlanta offers discounted college student rush tickets for ​ “The Wizard of Oz” at the Fox Theatre June 21 - 26

Join Broadway in Atlanta as it welcomes The Wizard of Oz to the Fox Theatre for a limited one week engagement filled with enchantment and marvelous adventure. For any local college students looking to spend time in the magical land of Oz, Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta presents a special $25 Student Rush Ticket price for the Atlanta engagement of The Wizard of Oz, playing for the first time at The Fox Theatre June 21 – 26 as part of the 2015/2016 35th anniversary season. College students simply need to bring valid college student identification with them to the Fox Theatre Box Office two hours prior to each scheduled performance. The Student Rush Ticket price will be valid for all performances June 21 - 26 with a two-ticket limit per student ID. Student Rush Tickets may be purchased with cash or credit card and will apply to any open seat in the house, subject to availability.

This production of The Wizard of Oz is an enchanting adaptation of the all-time classic.  Developed from the ever popular MGM screenplay, this new production contains the beloved Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg songs from the Oscar®-winning movie score, all the favorite characters and iconic moments, plus a few surprises along the way, including new songs by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The Wizard of Oz will play June 21 – 26 as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2015/2016 season. The performance schedule is:

Tuesday-Thursday         7:30 p.m.

Friday                           8 p.m.

Saturday                       2 p.m., 8 p.m.

Sunday                         1 p.m., 6 p.m.
